Class hours are from 9 am to 4 pm both class days (Saturday and Sunday). Please arrive about 8:30 am on Saturday for coffee and get acquainted chat. If you have a flight out on Sunday evening, you should be able to make any flight after 5:30 pm.
The fee for class is $250 per student. A student may bring their wife for an additional $50. A deposit of $50 will reserve your class seat. The deposit is payable by check or Visa/MC. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.
The first day we will be covering basic sheet metal working techniques - cutting, drilling, countersinking and riveting as well as plans reading, hole cutting, and more. The second day you will put these skills to use building a section of a control surface. We will also cover tools on the second day. Our class format is open to questions at all times. Feel free to ask about what is on your mind so you will get as much as possible from your time with us.
Safety Equipment: Please bring hearing and eye protection safety equipment with you. Ear plugs or shooter's muffs will protect your hearing so you can still hear ATC. Safety glasses will protect your eyes from aluminum chips - the FAA is picky about blind pilots.
